Looking to improve your on-location portraits? Sony Artisan of Imagery Tony Gale will be showing us how to use everything our location provides to create more dynamic images of people.
Building on the basics from part 1, this session will focus on flash photography. Working with a model, Tony will demonstrate how to use flash by focusing on light placement and optimal camera and flash settings. You'll leave with a greater understanding that will give you confidence to light your subjects in any condition. While this session builds on concepts from Part 1, it's designed for you to benefit even if you haven't attended the previous session.

In the first of this three-part series, you'll learn the fundamentals of using constant light to create beautiful, well-lit portraits. Tony will lead a live lighting demonstration with a model, showing you how to shape and control light to bring out your subject's best features. He¿ll cover topics such as light placement, optimal camera settings, and understanding light quality. You'll leave with a strong foundation for consistently shooting well-lit images.
